Most excitingly, more HIPs, Health Coaches and Support Workers are providing support to more people every month. Over 230,000 enrolled patients across Canterbury are now able to access timely, free mental health and wellbeing support, and early analysis shows it is reducing the number of GP consultations people need and the number of referrals to brief intervention services.
